I lost the computer I was working on this game with originally and started from scratch using the playable exe as a template.  In the time between making the original prototype and this prototype GMS2 has updated quite a bit (struct in particular) and my understanding of coding has gotten a lot better.    The prototype is more for gameplay than a gameplay experience, admittedly it isn't fun yet, but there is a level select world map.  More to come and hopefully no more multi year gaps in development!
